Description
Haicang, a part of Xiamen, is situated on the tip of South-Fujian Triangular Area and separated with Xiamen Island only by a strip of water. Haicang's terrain is a combination of hill, terrace and plain with a stable geological structure.
Xiamen Haicang Bridge is the second suspension bridge in the world and the first in Asia. The total length is 5926.527 meters and 50000 cars pass it every day. It is an important way that connects Xiamen with the outside world. It is also a famous tourist attraction in Xiamen. The bridge shows that the level of bridge building in our country has met the international standard.
Best Travel Time
It is tender in Xiamen. It is hot in summer, as the temperature at July and August is over 30℃, but it is lower 10℃ in winter. The average temperature is 21℃. Spring and autumn is the best travel season.
